When I was filming on my own camera, I got nearly all of my shots in my own house and garden because my group and I thought it would be more realistic to film in our own houses as the audience will believe it more and the thought of the place you feel most safe is not as safe as you thought. I had to re-shoot some videos because of the mise-en-scene in some of them. For example, one video I shot in my garden , there was a hose pipe in the way which made it look amateur, so I moved it and re-shot it which looked much better.

Editing
Now my group and I have finished putting in the videos to complete our title sequence, after the whole timing issue, we are now focusing on editing our videos. We have already thought about our video transitions and decided to have 'fade in and out' for each video. We have put on a black and white filter over all our videos apart from our titles, we have made the background red with black writing and added the 'bad film' effect on every video. We are experimenting with different filters to make the videos more creepy and distorted.

Titles
When filming the titles, I did it two ways. I panned the light for one shot and the other I made the light appear instantly:
I showed them to my group and we decided that we should use the shot where the light is panning across the text. When filming these titles, I did both techniques with the light so when we decided to have the panning light shots we didn't have to wait for me to go home and film them all, which saved time and effort.
Distortion shots
My media teacher I needed more distortion shots to improve my grade, so I went home and filmed these:
I experimented with different angles of light and tried different ways of creating shadows by changing the direction of the light. I used a torch, so it was easier to move the light around to get the angle and direction I wanted.

Other setbacks...
My group thought we didn't have enough footage to fill the amount of time out project needs to be, so we decided to make sure, throughout the weeks we have left, to use our own cameras and get lots of footage whenever we can to make sure we fill the 40 seconds of footage we needed.
However, we had the timings wrong and found out we didn't need anymore videos and that we had enough already. Although this was fustrating, we still got some really good footage and now all we have to do is choose the best videos and edit them, so our effort wasn't wasted at all.

Soundtrack Problems
My group found a problem with our soundtrack. In our soundtrack we have a piano riff that carries on throughout the whole sequence. When we last worked on it, we found that the piano part was missing.
We had to go back to garage band and sort out the problem with help from our teacher and other students.
In the end, we got it sorted out by finding the riff again and adding it back on.

Titles
In our media lesson, we looked at the order that the titles appear in some films to help us with our project. Here is what we found:
We discovered that the films that don't have many titles may do this because there is no point as the film will have major, well-known actors in, so that is the reason why many people decided to go see that particular film. Low budget films are more likely to have more titles as they will have actors are not very well-known and feel the need to credit them at the start of the film.
Watching these title sequences helped my group with our project so we know what other titles we can put into our title sequence to make it more realistic.
